Students Receive Bibles at UW Stevens Point

God has been stirring and moving on hearts at UW-Stevens Point, and it’s been incredible seeing how students have been answering the call and listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Football Small Group Bible Study continues to grow, as well as the story of how they are being changed by the Word. As we meet each week, these students look forward to it and even text to make sure we are still having it. They have also assisted in leading out in the study as well.

Two of those students recently started running for student government and are having a critical influence on the university. A few weeks ago, they had an open forum with the student body, and as they spoke, they openly mentioned our college ministry being influential to their growth and how spending time going to Bible study has inspired them. Recently, they even had a request that some of the guys on their football team wanted Bibles. We were able to supply them with 15 Bibles for their teammates.

Keep us in prayer as we prepare by God’s Grace to launch a leadership training class on how these students can learn leadership skills and reach out to their friends for Christ.
