Wisconsin Conference Youth Department

The Wisconsin Conference Youth Department of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church is dedicated to ministering to and supporting our youth and young adults. We accomplish this through ministries such as Pathfinders, Adventurers, JAHWI (Jóvenes Adventistas Hispanos de Wisconsin), Public Campus Ministries, Summer Camp Ministries at Camp Wakonda, and other youth events. It's our goal to see every young person draw closer to Jesus, and to empower them to do the work the Lord has set before them.

Pathfinders are a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization.

Pathfinders is for those who are in the fifth (5th) grade or its equivalent through the eighth (8th) grade. 5th and 6th graders are often referred to as "Junior" pathfinders, and 7th and 8th graders are often referred to as "Teen" Pathfinders.

The Teen Leadership Training (TLT) program works closely with the Pathfinder program and is for high school students (grades 9-12).

The Adventurer program was created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as a child’s primary teachers and evangelizers. The program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas. Through the Adventurer Program, the church, home, and school can work together with the parent to develop a mature, happy child.

The Adventurer Club involves children in grades 1-4 and their parents. The program-ming and planning for Adventurers should be simple and short, but creative. Parental involvement provides opportunities for parents to participate in the learning experience.

Glen Morrow - (812) 249-6535 - gmorrowpe@gmail.com

Glen Morrow is looking forward to serving the TLTs in any way needed.  He is planning some special TLT-only activities and is open to suggestions you can add for consideration to fully add to the Wisconsin TLT experience.   Glen and his wife, Alcione, have 5 daughters, 4 son-in-laws and 1 grandson.  He is an engineer who has many hobbies and especially enjoys long distance bicycling, backyard beekeeping, and jokes.  He loves helping with Pathfinders and the challenge to teach honors that he has to learn before he can teach.
